As stars continue to flock to the 2016 Cannes Film Festival, we take a look at the top fashion moments from the red carpet so far. Blake Lively, Jessica Chastain and Kendall Jenner all make the list for their show-stopping dresses.
And some things really are too tough to forgive. AReddit thread discussing the reason couples in relationships lasting 20 years or more sheds some light on the heartbreaking reasons couples call it quits after decades of marriage.
Sometimes, after more than 20 years, if you don’t have any similar interests, you stop trying.
2.Someone (or both) cheats.
“Parents divorced after 22 years when my mother cheated,” TheVBnerve wrote. “Dad felt bad and hurt but acknowledged he might have been part of the problem (emotional distance) so he wanted to work through it with therapy and stuff. She agreed to work through it and then cheated again a week later. The divorce was messy...”
3.Incompatibility.
“My parents were married close to 40 years and divorced,” one wrote.
“Dad is definitely on the spectrum, and just doesn't understand ‘normal’ emotions. Without children in the house to buffer their interactions, my dad's behaviour became increasingly bizarre and inappropriate, and my mom’s physical and emotional health started deteriorating, so we encouraged them to go their separate ways. I'm happy to say they are now divorced and living their own separate but fulfilling lives. Mom is devoted to caring for her grandbabies, and dad to his trophy wife.”
4.It gets too hard.
“Married 16 years, together 18, so close enough. Had a solid relationship that was incredible. Job changes, family dramas (sister tried to kill herself), and it was like we were a team that could take on what life handed out. But then we had the year to end all years - lost 3 out of 4 parents (her Dad had died a long time ago) in a single year, moved to a new house that was still being renovated, and she went back to school to start a new career. All of those combined were like a perfect storm and everything just collapsed. I still don't understand what happened....”
5.The kids grow up.
“This is the case with more than half of the families we know. In it for the kids. Both parents have relationships on the side but raise the kids with their marriage partners. Not a clue how you explain that to the kids,” wrote FLBoyZ06.
6.Money matters.
”Friend of mine not me. Married for over 20 years. He was the main earner,” writes Heartless_Gloater. “She brought up the kids. When the kids left home she went out to work for the first time in their marriage. At the end of the first month he expects them to put both their respective wages together to pay the bills. She abjectly refused.
“Said it was her money. She brought up the kids and now having this extra money is her due/reward. This just eats at them both really and pretty soon they argue daily about this extra money.”
7.Taking the other person for granted.
”My husband and I will be divorcing soon. He doesn't know yet, even though I've been vocal about how our marriage isn't great, and clear about what changes I would need to see to stay,” meowhaha said. ”Once I asked him if he thought he was a good husband. His reply? "Well, I don't beat you, or drink, or gamble or sleep around. I think I have a right to a little bit more in a husband than that.”
8.One person forces your hand.
“My girlfriend got divorced after 20 years. About 10 years in he started to drink more and then more as time went on,” Tess47 said. “She picked up the slack he left and tried everything to turn it around. 7 years she worked on it because ‘my husband is my best friend and you don't abandon your best friend when they are in trouble’. She tried all she could and he drank more and more. He became a shell of a mean man and she left when the youngest could drive. She is still sad. He died 120 days after the divorce was final. Now she feels the guilt.”
Mary Kay has long championed the rights and health of women everywhere, but helping those who are victims of abuse is a particular labor of love for the beauty brand. With the launch of their brand new limited-edition Beauty That Counts Mary Kay Crème Lipstick – Hearts Together they hope to raise money and awareness for these survivors and their children.
At just $15 a piece, this special version of their Mary Kay Crème Lipstick in Soft Pink not only has hearts emblazoned on the product itself, but also comes packaged in a tube that boasts the same sweet theme. If that’s not enough to send you shopping, the shade is all kinds of amazing. It offers up the prettiest “your natural pink lips but better” hue and the creamy texture actually makes your pout feel moisturized. I’m on a constant search for a pink lipstick that adds a natural blush tone and I think I’ve finally met my perfect match.
So there you go – a healthy, pink lip while you’re helping others? It doesn’t get any better than that.
Beauty That Counts Mary Kay Crème Lipstick – Hearts Together will become available on May 16.

How to Make Loom Bands. 5 Easy Rainbow Loom Sara BeautyBracelet Designs without a Loom - Rubber band Bracelets
Rainbow loom bracelet tutorial on How to make loom bands. We are making 5 easy rubber band bracelet designs without a loom. All you need are rainbow loom bands, your fingers or a simple DIY loom. So many of you requested bracelets with loom bands and here they are. I paired some of my loom bands with charms, to show slightly different designs. All 5 loom bands bracelet designs are very easy to make, perfect for beginners in rubber loom band bracelet making. We are making 4 bracelets on 2 fingers or 2 pins and the last bracelet on 4 pins. If you have a rainbow loom you can make loom band bracelets or charms on the loom instead. In this loom bands tutorial I will also show how to make a simple rainbow loom yourself, both with 2 and 4 pins – really useful DIY rainbow loom.
I made my first loom band bracelet on my pointer and middle finger. I used red and green rubber bands. To make it more special I also added a silver infinity charm. This bracelet is the easiest in this tutorial, but looks really cute. It is especially cool, since you can use any connector charm and pair it with your favorite loom band colors.
Next rainbow loom bracelet is beaded with pastel round charms. It reminds me of candies because of all the beautiful pastel colors of loom bands and beads. To make it I used a simple DIY rainbow loom. I made it using 2 pencils, eraser and some tape to hold everything in place. You could also make these bracelets on 2 forks for example. I would recommend making your own DIY rainbow loom if you don't own one, especially if you're making a lot of bracelets. You're fingers will be very happy. If you don't have beads, you can also wrap your rubber bands with other bands and you can still make a variation of this beautiful loom band bracelet. I really love this loom bands design.
The coolest bracelet in this tutorial must be two colored chain bracelet. We need two colors of bands and a clip. You can make this bracelet on two fingers or on a rainbow loom. The secret of this bracelet is having 3 bands on your pins and making an inverse fishtail stitch on one side, while making a fishtail stitch on another. I love how different this bracelet looks with two lines all along connected to each other. Pretty awesome!
Next loom bands bracelet is a knotted bracelet . Rainbow Loom. It is made with normal fishtail stitches. The hint is to turn the bracelet inside out after 4 or five added loom bands. Then just continue adding loom bands and knotting them with the easy fishtail stitches on both sides. I Love how the different colors make kind of a gradient effect. Epic looking rainbow loom bracelet.
Finally, I made a bracelet on 4 pins. So I had to make another DIY rainbow loom with 4 pins. I used 4 pencils this time and a squared bottle of nail polish. I attached pins to the nail polish with tape. Anyway, I used this DIY loom to make this awesome detailed chevron rope bracelet. You will need a bunch of bands and a c clip to make it. When you have 2 loom bands on the loom, just continue adding bands and pulling the bottom band over the top one until your bracelet is long enough. I used red, yellow and blue bands for this fun and colorful bracelet. I really love this chevron party bracelet.
All these five bracelets were so easy and fast to make but look adorable in the end. If you would like me to film another DIY loom bands tutorial, leave me a comment. Have fun making these beautiful bracelets.

Having watched this video it is clear that Ashley and Steph are two budding young fashion gurus. We love these great DIY projects where a bit of skill, a lot of patience, and plenty of enthusiasm produce great results. In this case, the prize for talented Stylishevers is a really great looking rainbow loom starburst bracelet. This was one of Steph’s projects and we really enjoyed her presentation and how clearly she explained everything, which makes life so much
easier, especially if you have not tried this before. As for the finished product, well sometimes DIY crafts just don’t turn out as you might hope. However the good news is that definitely isn’t the case here. With quality and good looking bracelets being all the rage at the moment, we think this multicolored rainbow loom starburst bracelet is definitely a winner you’ll enjoy making.
We’ve done a lot of looking around and we have really struggled to find anything as rewarding as this type of DIY bracelet project. It is plainly obvious today that bracelets are almost a form of tribal art which youngsters can use to show allegiance to something that matters to them. Sure, it may just be their friend, but it can also be to memorialize a friend that has been lost, commemorate a special day like Mother’s day or even .birthdays. The options are endless.
We also like the idea that this is a great DIY hobby for you to do with your friends, not just on your own. Who knows, you could almost start up a little home factory and start selling these bracelets they are so good.
