TOLEDO, OHIO — A video released by the Toledo Police Department's Facebook page shows a robber get a beat down by store employees after he attacked a pregnant female clerk on May 4th, 2016.

The video shows a man in a gray hoodie ask a female employee to check something for him at a convenience store at a Sunoco gas station at Ashland and Bancroft in Toledo, Ohio. The clerk has some cash in her hand and as she begins to opens the cash register, the robber makes his move. Trying to snatch the cash but not quite making it, he leaps over the counter and starts attacking the clerk, who is heavily pregnant.

The suspect, who witnesses said seemed to be high on something, continues his ill-mannered attack as the brave pregnant clerk turns to protect her baby belly. Within milliseconds, other staff from the store rush over to help, prying the goon off the pregnant cashier and wrestling him to the ground. All the while, the pregnant woman appears incredible calm as she grabs a phone to call 911.

Akash Singh, reportedly the store owner, then grabs a small fire extinguisher and is caught on film walloping the bad guy at least three times with it.
The villain just barely escapes with a reported US$500 and hopefully some nice, sore, massive bruises.
Toledo Police asked for help tracking the miscreant down and by Saturday, the cops had a name and an arrest warrant for suspect Nathaniel Maddox Jr.
